Dromilly Cave:

Field notes: R. S. Stewart
Cavers: S. Koenig, R. S. Stewart, local

Entrance 2.1 m wide by 3 m high, (sketched in notebook).

I was into this cave sometime in the last 2 years.
The cave consists of a left and right section, (W, E), with biological activity mainly in E section. The left section has good formations, a skylight not indicated on the map, and soda straw stalactites high at the N end.

Dromilly Cave:
June 13, 2002
Field Notes: R. S. Stewart
Cavers: S. Koenig, Geo Graening, S. McGinnis, Guy Graening, R. S. Stewart
Position: Reserved due to biological resources

Cave entrance position marked with Garmin as Wpt 006, at 16:30, DGPS WAAS, accuracy +/- 3 m.

The cane field at the base of the hill that holds Dromilly Cave had standing water over much of it. I took a fall on a loose rock on the hike up the hill to the entrance with only minor damage as a result; I had about 10 Kg in my pack and my legs were getting a bit rubbery.

A biological survey was done, primarily in the eastern branch of the cave and then we headed back to Windsor.
