- World University Service (Germany) student board
member 1992-1994. Organised events, participated in international
conferences, policy-making and implementation for this international NGO
with emphasis on education and service.
- 1993-1994 Cultural Officer, Medical University of
Lübeck Student Government, Initiated Cabaret Project with the Technical
College, organised cultural pageants, seminars on Medicine in the
Developing World.
- Doctoral thesis was written on the Credit Suisse
Check Bus Project, a company health and prevention initiative, 1996-1998
in Switzerland. The experience with quality management was then applied to
found a quality circle at the Day Clinic for Children, Child and
Adolescent Psychiatric Services, Zürich.
- Completed three-year diploma course in cognitive
behavioural therapy at the Institute of Psychological Therapy, Zürich,
Switzerland (2000-2003), as well as training in client-centred
psychotherapy, positive parenting techniques and some Chinese Medicine.

description of all is from my former Yalie college suitemate Ange who sums it
up thus:

didn't know how stunningly gorgeous you are. Now I have to "hate" you
because not only are you (in no particular order): a gifted linguist, a
brainiac neuro-surgeon-psychologist, community-minded ecological
save-the-planet-one-movement-at-a-time, working- healing clown, leader, singer,
guitar player, gypsy, warrior, adventurer, dancing wild-woman, with hair that
keeps writing tools in easy reach, perfect skin, you are (and always have been)
a gifted creative talented writer, AND also someone who inspires others (me) to
tap into my humanity and spirit to be a better person.
The best
part is that I read a quote once that kinda said; that if you don't know what
kind of person you are just look at your closest friends. Yay..
