Mar 03, 2003 BELFIELD CAVE: Field notes: I. C. CONOLLEY Cavers: R. S. Stewart, I. C. Conolley, M. Taylor Clive takes us to another cave that he calls Belfield Cave. This is one on Merl’s property. It has a double drop. The first drop is about 50 feet and the second about 30 feet. It has huge calcite deposits particularly at the lower level. The hole ends at the lower level. It’s a massive breakdown chamber. |
